Mr. Block was a partner in the law firm Mirsky & Block, PLLC from 1998 to 2007 where he oversaw the firm’s entire immigration practice. From 1992 to 1997, Mr. Block was General Counsel for Nissin Foods (U.S.A.) Co., Inc., a subsidiary of Nissin Food Products Co., Ltd., a large multi-national corporation based in Osaka, Japan with worldwide operations. During his tenure with Nissin Foods, Mr. Block personally handled all immigration matters involving the transfer of Japanese nationals from the parent company to the U.S.

Mr. Block now focuses his practice on business immigration law. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey. Mr. Block also counsels clients in the areas of general corporate law, employment law and business transactions.

Prior to obtaining his law degree, Mr. Block lived and worked in Japan for nine years and is fluent in Japanese. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the New York State University College at New Paltz and a J.D. degree from the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.
